I believe that the postbox at Grytviken is the most southerly in the world. It has no regular collection as whenever a ship passes through the postbox is emptied and taken to the next port of call for dispatch!
I asked her to post me one from there as I thought it was just so remote...and she remembered.
Its just incredible that there are still such remote places on our world in the 21st Century.The bro joins her in Santiago, Argentina today, for Christmas. They intend to head to Patagonia, but she has some concerns as to whether she'll find the correct bus to the airport this evening!
