Today I'm Revoltin' and Rebellin'

Please click here for the One World One Heart giveaway.

I just can't figure what God wants of me; I'm all about in my head, working hard for weeks and achieving NOTHING. I never even read my Permaculture magazine yesterday because I felt bad taking the time for myself to do so.
How stupid is that?

So STUFF IT, I'm taking today out.

I'm going to quilt what I damn well like:

...play my accordian very loudly and badly...
...and then play all the old music I own, even louder, and eat this whole bar of chocolate...Don't tell me this is a fine way of listening to God-
Don't ask is this His Plan for my day-
Don't tell me I'm wasting His Time-
BECAUSE I KNOW!

You can put your ear plugs in if you need to work: but for now-
S'long y'all...

It sounds like great therapy to me! Old music, chocolate, and quilting - what a perfect day. How cool that you play the accordian!

Matthew 11:27-29 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Have a restful day. You are a treasure.

The older I get the more I wish I'd taken some more time for myself when I was younger, rather than thinking that I always had to be working, or doing something for other people. Go for it, and I hope you've had a really restful day - how about another one tomorrow?

Even Jesus sought out private time to regroup and refresh Himself so why not you?!!

Enjoy your personal time and refresh yourself in the wonderful gifts God has provided for your enjoyment and you will be a much better person after it is done!

Everybody needs to take time for themselves. Your day sounds perfect to me.

and everybody needs a rant too, I love how you get your ratty mood across in this post, nothing like real emotions spilling forward.

thanks for the comment on my last flower post, funny you should mention georgia o keefe, i was obsessed with her when i was about 16, all i painted were skulls and flowers! and wanted to be a desert dwelling woman hhhmmm so the place I am having my exhibition is just an empty shop space that a friend owns, there is no real gallery in my town so I have improvised. i will put everything up in a post so its a virtual exhibition. thanks for your support, this is the first time i have done it alone.
hope tomorrow goes better for you, remember even god had a day off!!

Heckety, I thought it was just an American obsession to always be productive and always be doing. Sometimes just 'being' a human being is great too:)
