Yesterday evening I went outside to try and get a good photo of the dog-daisies along the lane:
...and became side-tracked when I noticed that the alpine strawberries are ripening! They are tiny, less than a centimeter in length but oh so sweet and tasty! I tried to photograph them before eating, but had trouble getting the lens focus correct...so I ate them anyway!
The honeysuckle is budding nicely, it's going to smell wonderful in another week or so:
And this seems to be flowering moss- Ulla? Sue? Does moss flower?
Thistles we have aplenty- I explained to them that this isn't Scotland so technically they weren't really welcome but they didn't seem too bothered, oddly enough...
And then as I was heading back the sun dropped into its 'golden' moments and I caught a few shots:
The photos are pretty enough but don't do justice to the beauty of these few minutes in the evening- it was just glorious!
Still, I just love daisies- they're always so cheerful!...all of which is to cover the fact that I didn't do one scrap of sewing yesterday...

You need to be a photographer! These pictures are awesome!
Isn't this a terrific time of year? Everything is so lush and just a little too flamboyant.
Lovely pictures! No, moss does not have flowers, it has spores.
Such lovely pictures, especially the last one of the daisies - the light is beautiful :) I love daisies too, they always seem to be so enthusiastic and happy, they just cheer me up.

Heckety, the flowers are so beautiful!!! And those green hills I see in the background take my breath! God is so good to give us such beauty, and you capture it so well!
I pray you are blessed this week. May the Lord Jesus meet all your needs according to His riches in glory! His faithfulness is forever!
