Decision Made

Decision made
Marriage over
Moved out
Very sober.

Tiny house
Very old
No garden
Rather cold.

In town
Rooftops
Very handy
For the shops.

Difficulties
Lie ahead
Some weeping
Much dread.

Girls fine
I'll start again
Best wishes,
Amen.

Decision made
Marriage over
Moved out
Despair is over.

Tiny house
Very old
You’ll paint flowers
Tinted with gold.

Sleeping sideways
In your bed
No more snoring
In your head.

Difficulties
Lie ahead
And giddy laughter,
Fresh baked bread.

Girls fine
So are you.
Godspeed, brave one,
And good for you.
Amen.

Oh, you must have had a tough few months feeling your way to the right decision. There's nothing much I can say, except that sewing things for your new home can only help you over the next few months.

A very hard decision to make, one I made many years ago. It was a difficult time, but I came out much happier and stronger. I'm now with a husband who is my best friend and who supports and respects me. I wish you all the best in your new journey!

Oh Heather, I wondered if that was coming, it can't have been as easy decision. What a wonderful positive echo poem from Ann. I hope real friends are as supportive as virtual ones x x

I've been receiving your updates on my yahoo blog reader but do not always get them read. So this is a little out of time but I'm adding my prayers and wishes along with the others! If you don't mind I'm going to share your poem with my sister. She made the same kind of move this pass Saturday after 24 years. Best wishes as you move into the future. Sarah
