Of course, if one is about to climb through a small space with possible splinters or nails, its best to do it just before Church whilst wearing one's Sunday clothes...
(a nice wife wouldn't post this sort of item on her blog, now would she?)
And a personal hurrah:
Nollaig the Christmas Elf is on his way to a new home!
I'm delighted he's going to a friend- you can't sell dolls and elves to just anybody you know!

Oh dear... Did he find them inside in the end?

My photography is available for purchase - visit Around the Island Photography and bring home something beautiful today!
What a brilliant picture - has he seen it yet? When I was about eight months pregnant with our first child we went to buy some wood to make a banister rail. My husband carefully tied it onto the roof, making sure that it was well anchored down. Only then did he realise that he'd tied it through all the windows for added security and he couldn't open the doors. So the only way for me to get into the car was through the window. Tres elegante!
Sure hope he found the keys! Your elf is gorgeous! You are soooo very talented. Hope you are doing well. It has been crazy here and I have not been around very much lately. Hope you will forgive me.
Hugs,
andrea
I don't think you want to let he who shall be nameless know that you took that photo, let alone posted it on your blog! Your Christmas elf is charming.
I'm soooooooo lucky!!
Your elf is gorgeous! Did he find the keys? And why was it so important to find them BEFORE church?
